KFC or Kids From Chuuk performed for 8th graders who collected the most canned goods from our canned-food drive. 6th and 7th graders who donated canned foods watched the performance.

Henry Kapono Ka’aihue is an award winning and Grammy nominated singer/songwriter. He has taken home numerous Na Hoku Hano Hano Awards (Hawaii’s equivalent of the Grammy’s) including Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year. 8th graders meet at our school’s Dining Hall to view an orientation presentation from George Washington High School’s Faculty. Last half of orientation was held outside to view a ROTC demonstration.
