Agueda I. Johnston Middle School PTO receives a $300 check for “Stop Bullying Award” on behalf of Prince Hall Masonic Family, District #8, Washington Jurisdiction, a non- profit organization. A Red Ribbon Outreach Presentation took place on Monday (October 15, 2018) during Team Pirate Tutorial in the Dining Hall.

On October 12, 2018, during lunch, Pirate Teachers got treated to Cake and Ice-cream for National Teacher Appreciation Day.

AIJMS held its first spaghetti night /open house / PTO meeting on August 31th, 2018. Former and current pirates came out to support Athletic Club’s fundraiser, as well as parents, faculty, and staff.
On August 29, 2018 Wednesday, a club and organization fair was held in the BreezeWay, clubs from National Junior Honor Society, Student Body Association, Athletic Club, Pirate Culture Club, were represented.
Thank you to our 7th grade parent volunteer Mark Mendiola (Board Chairman) and Officer Scott Wade (Tina Wade’s husband) for volunteering their time and service on Saturday (8/18/18) to remove and replace old broken gutter in E Wing. With their concerted effort, our students and teachers do not have to get drenched from the pouring rain.
