My name is Cheyenne Songsong, case manager at Sanctuary, Incorporated of Guam.
Sanctuary, Inc. would like to invite all middle to high school students to this year’s virtual youth conference on September 12, 2020, based on an online platform called Run the World. This year’s Too Cool to Do Drugs Virtual Youth Conference will focus on substance abuse prevention and include track sessions on topics related to the challenges youth are facing during COVID-19, cultural awareness, and suicide prevention.
Please share attached registration and flyer to parents and guardians to register; Registrations close September 10, 2020. All registrations to be sent to this email and once received, the parent will receive a ticket via email to the conference page. The conference page will detail the event agenda, speaker bios and provide the access to sessions on the conference day. The event can also be accessed on cell phones, through a downloadable platform app.
Service Learning opportunity is available as well, for all students who engage in sessions and complete overall evaluations. Instructions will be available on the conference page. Students name’s who are registered will be raffled for prizes as well; Must be present virtually during the event to win.
